La Bombonera ("the chocolate box") is a legendary football stadium in Buenos Aires in the La Boca district. It is the architects emigrated from the Balkans who realize the first plans and one who has just received a
box of chocolate as a gift, is struck by the similarity of form with the first drawings made. This will become a daily source of inspiration for the project and a nickname that will later be adopted by all.
The atmosphere is exceptional and it is said that La Bombonera «vibrates and pulsates like a beating heart»
No doubt that the designers of the show Balkan tango «La Bombonera» namely the composer, story writer and bandoneonist Aleksandar Nikolic, choreographer, dancer and artistic director Santiago Giachello together with the maestros Santiago Giachello & Agostina Tarchini, Mariano Otero & Alejandra Heredia, Andrés Sautel & Celeste Medina, on the musicians of Beltango Quinteto with Aleksandar Nikolic (bandoneon), Ivana Nikolic (piano/voice), Antonija Barna (violin), Bogdan Pejic (guitar) and Petar Holik (bass) will give us this same sensation
